It’s easy enough for me to tell you the practical reasons that I started Maybird. I wanted there to be more group ride options for NICA-age riders, more post-high school options graduated riders, and better training and education opportunities for developing cyclists.

But, it’s harder to fully capture the real reasons that I started this team. If I had to sum it up, I’d say this:

I love cycling. It has changed my life for the better. I want that for more people.

This team has been the source of many friendships, the root of countless incredible experiences, and the greatest accomplishment of my life.

I can’t wait to ride with you.
